Story

The story

At a luxury hotel hosting a top business summit, Elisa Gray is mistaken for an intruder while searching a fountain for her son Anderson's blue diamond, a birthday gift from his father. A security guard named Bruce Wall orders her out, and her former boyfriend, Luke Bolton, publicly humiliates her, calling her a poor student his father once sponsored and offering her a charity job at his company.

Luke is there with Cindy Gale, the woman he proposed to days after breaking up with Elisa five years earlier, hoping to win the support of the richest man at the summit. Neither of them knows that Elisa is the wife of Gideon York, the man everyone has come to court.

As Luke sneers at her lack of status, Elisa finds the diamond and rises to her feet, while Luke's grip tightens on her wrist.
