My Bride Put The Ring On Her Best Bro At Our Wedding

At his wedding, in front of six hundred guests, Ethan watches his fiancée Chloe slide the ring onto her male best friend Brandon's finger, calling it a childhood promise fulfilled. The hall goes silent, and the officiant scrambles to smooth it over. Then Chloe turns to Ethan with an empty hand and asks him to marry her. He refuses.

Chloe insists it was only a joke, that Brandon is like a little brother. Her mother lets slip that the two families always meant Chloe and Brandon to marry. Ethan's parents confront them, and when Chloe's father demands the twenty-thousand-dollar wedding contribution back, Ethan's father counters with the pre-marital gifts and threatens to call the police for fraud.

Chloe writes an IOU, and Ethan walks out, leaving the disaster behind.
