Mocked for a Sugar Daddy, My Real Father Stunned Them

Polly Swanson's intern confirmation has barely been announced when Zachery Fox posts in the company chat that she must have a sugar daddy, then deletes it. In her last life, that rumor destroyed her: video of her with an older man, thugs, a river, death. Now she is back at the same message, and this time she screenshots it before he can erase it.

When she demands proof, HR's Sylvia Chavez tells her not to get worked up, and Wendy Mercer insists Zachery meant well. Coworkers pile on, some privately asking her rate for a night. Polly records everything, files a police report, and calls her cousin, a lawyer.

Then she finds Zachery going through her computer and Wendy emptying her bag, holding up a box of condoms that is not hers. As Zachery lunges for her phone, Polly stands her ground.
