Ex-boyfriend Got What He Deserved

Sophia sits alone in a recovery room at midnight, her birthday passing without a word from her boyfriend Liam. Instead, the forums erupt with news that Liam raced on winding mountain roads to win a medal for his first love, Victoria. Days of pent-up grievances pour out as she drags her post-abortion body home.

There, Liam waits in the wheelchair he has sat in for three years, demanding water. Sophia has worked two jobs to fund his treatment, even quietly aborting their child alone. But his disability was an act, and his hearing loss an excuse to keep her. When she says three words—let's break up—he smashes his hearing aid and blocks her way.

Victoria arrives with Liam's ring, wearing its match. As the house shakes with an earthquake, Liam stands and shields Victoria, leaving Sophia bleeding on shattered glass. Exposed, he admits his family's troubles ended long ago, and that Sophia simply isn't worthy of the standards he reserves for Victoria.
