Sunk the Boat, Never to Meet Again

On the day her husband Gideon gave their son's life-saving medicine to his childhood crush's cat, Sienna stopped being the wife he resented. She no longer questions his late nights or his flirty messages. When they bury their son Jamie, Gideon claims a work emergency, and she answers only, "Okay," and lays the urn in the niche alone.

Gideon's calm wife unsettles him, yet when Tessa calls about her sick cat Mochi, he leaves at once. Sienna waits with dinner until two in the morning, then sees Tessa's post thanking her guardian angel. She likes it, then tells her parents overseas she will accept the arranged marriage once the divorce cooling-off period ends.

At the office, whispers and Tessa's barbs blame her for Jamie's death, and Gideon's father, the chairman, strikes her for losing the Corbin account. Waking in hospital, she hears Gideon ask her to let it go and start over, while outside he comforts Tessa. At the estate, she finds Jamie's engraved silver bell around Mochi's neck.
