The Price of Her Betrayal

On the day of their engagement party, Ethan's fiancée Bella leaves after one phone call from a male client, sending him a small payment and begging him not to be angry. That night he sees the client's story: a screenshot of Bella sending Julian a far larger sum with a love confession. He quietly calls off the wedding.

At her office the next morning, he overhears colleagues teasing Bella about landing Julian, the firm's toughest client, and her coy hints about their night together. She has introduced Ethan to them only as her brother, and the gift she gives him turns out to be an empty box meant for Julian, who arrives wearing the tie clip it once held.

Ethan throws the box away, tells his parents the wedding is off, and when Bella later asks whether he still wants to marry, he answers no.
