Hi
Having problems with editwrx in that it does not seem to save or save as. I originally installed ContentEditable which works fine and went on to upgrade but for some reason with editwrx it does not save and when I 'save as' I get an error message relating to a script 'object doesn't support this property of method' (Line 1, Char 1, Code 0), any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

That is an indication that /library/htm/control.txt either did not load or has been corrupted.
Check to make certain /library/htm/control.txt exists and is in it's original condition.
Do not open control.html in any editor, doing so will automatically corrupt the file. Also, make certain that that file is upload in ASCII format, a BINARY transfer will also corrupt that file.
Control.txt is an encoded file. It contains a eval function that a browser will use to decode the file. Some adolescent virus scanners automatically block any file containing an eval function because they can not execute the eval function. A mature virus scanner will instead execute the eval function and scan the decoded content, approving that file which of course does not contain a virus.

Hi Keith
Thanks for the quick response.
The file in question is in the 'htm' folder OK. How would I now if it was corrupt?
I uploaded the 'editwrx' sit file which I had downloaded from the 'editwrx' site and unpacked it within a folder named 'editwrx' but still having the same problem, everything else seems to be OK, I can also go into the code view and edit the html and this saves OK.
Also when I do just hit the save icon a popup window appears and prompts me to save (with a backup checkbox if needed) clicking the save button just greys it out but does not close the window, it's the 'save as' the brings up the script error.
any answers much appreciated
Thanks again

When you bought your domain license you entered the URL to your domain instead of your domain's name. The license was therefore made out incorrectly to 'http://www.yourDomain.co.uk:RNN3666D11' instead of 'yourDomain.co.uk:D1105H00FU'
At the time I sent you an email containing the correct license made out to your domain name only. The email's subject line was ATTENTION: Your EditWrx license for - yourDomain.co.uk
Check your $DOMAIN_LICENSE in /librarydata/config.txt. It contains the incorrect license. Change that to the license I sent you.
Changing to the correct license will correct the saving problem.
