Hi,
I don't know if this is an issue for anyone else, or if it can be avoided (using the browser as the editing application)?
We often build custom server error pages to match a client's site layout, and usually add a 15 second meta-refresh to take visitors back to the main home page (stops people being "stranded" on a site), i.e.;
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5;URL=http://www.editwrx.com/">
When trying to edit pages with a meta-refresh, editWrx is responding to the meta-refresh tags and jumping to the target page for editing.
Is there any way this can be avoided / got-around?
All the best
Shaun

Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom buttom. In group Miscellaneous, Disable Allow META Refresh. You may want to make the site a Trusted Site and do the cutom there.
That's the only way I know to do is, the meta refresh is not accessible to javascript so there is no way for editwrx to disable it.

Keith,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I think I'll simply ask my clients not to edit the pages that have redirects - I'll edit them locally with DW.
PS. The first of my design clients to try editWrx is impressed :-)
All the best

You could edit them in source code with the Edit Document Source. I can't imagine an Error Document having too much code on it - but then I haven't had my morning's first coffee yet .......
